These are all the conventions and codes included in a music magazine. This includes the front cover, contents page and double-page spread. This is an important part of my research as it enables me to understand what NEEDS to be included when I come to making my own magazine, front cover, contents page and double-page spread.

READER PROFILE:
For the reader profile I will produce a fictional character of whom will resemble/represent my target audience. This means their occupation and interests will be a reflection of that of my target audience. The picture I have given to physically resemble my target audience is one off the internet and is not a person I know-or someone I have photographed.
I will analyse the demographics and psychographics of this person-in order to give myself a realistic example of a member of my target audience.

whys it important to produce a questionnaire?
Its very important to my research task, to produce a questionnaire and ask a range of different people to fill it out. This is because by evidence sustained from the results of the questionnaire I can establish my target audience for my magazine and therefore have a clear idea of what needs to be included to appeal to my specific target audience. Furthermore I can identify what genre of magazine would sell best, because of data collected from the questionnaire. By analysing the data collected I can include all important conventions, and therefore make my magazine I success.

In this presentation I have analysied and explained all the components present in a magazine double page spread. By doing this I have identified key components I must include in my own magazine double page spread. Its also improved my knowledge of how each page of a magazine fits together and compliments each other which will hopefully help to improve the quality of all my pages for my coursework.
In order to make sure I achieved everything in my final creation, I needed to identify the main components of magazines that are available in today's market. By doing this is hopefully can include all of these components in my own magazine which I will need in order to receive the best outcome. These components just apply to the front covers of magazines but I will also upload contents page components and double page spread components once I have researched them.

Hi im Naomi Palfreman, and for my AS media coursework i am designing and producing a magazine front page, contents page and double page spread based on a music themed magazine. I will need to undergo reserach of my target market-by producing questionairres and surveys-to do this i could use social media so its of a large scale research.I also have to investigate current products avaliable on the market today, and research which one sells best so i have a template to base my designs on. I then will have to carefully plan and design my magazine to make sure its of a high standard and would sell on today's music market.
I will need to use a range of camera shots, and take pictures of a high standard to achieve the best marks. In addition it is very important i can master the skills of photoshop as this will be the base programme i use for my magazine.
If i want to include people i will also need to ask people in advance to model for my magazine and gather all appropraite props for this. I will need to then use initiative and organisation skills to arrange a time when i can take pictures of these people-with the best equipment to capture my images.
This will all need to be done within the time frame of the coursework and uploaded onto my blog.
